Polymer Clay: Penguin

I watched GardenofImagination's video and was amazed. http://youtu.be/VUa_aMVuBfA I wanted to make a penguin so badly after that.  But I think I over cooked it >.<  aaahhh

Lets try that again shall we :) cause it looks like a chocolate penguin...lol

Ok now thats much better...what have we learned follow and watch the temperature in your oven and the time. Im happy with how this one turned out :)

Wow I haven't posted in a long while.

I have discovered Polymer Clay it is amazing. I remember my Play dough days ... Play-dough fail! Rolled it in a ball...rolled it into a snake....rolled all the colours into one and got brown ...then that was it ...lol

But now that I've grown i have discovered more and Polymer Clay is soooo awesome. But I need tools to make patterns. I went to Micheals and saw these for $10 ....then had a eureka moment.... I can make these out of things around the house and Clay!

This is my first project with Polymer Clay. I would change somethings. I used Michael's Brand Craftsmart but after baking it was still bendy.... so i will not use this brand anymore plus after reading some reviews others  have also had problems with it. So I will attempt again later with Sculpey.  But for now...since i can still use them lets see what else i can create :)

Amigurumi: Duplex Cookies and Oreo Cookies

Dupluex coolies were my favourit cookies as a kid growing up in Jamaica. Chocolate cookie one one side , vanilla cookie on the other and a pink colored filling in the middle. Sooo Yummy. Everyone knows Oreo cookies and a cup of Hot Chocolate.   The small pleasures of life.

I put this one down so many times but the poor kitten was outgrowing the old one so fast I had to kick myself in the pants and get it done.

Beaded Bracelet: Pretty in Purple and Pearls

This one took a while but finished it :)
And i love it .... in the next one i make i think I'll make it blue and with some crystal bicones I think i'll do it in blue.

Also spent most of the day trying to figure out Microsoft Access to try and use it to track all my beads and projects. Its going well so far :) I Entered this project in there and the beads i used to make it.
